It would seem that Hope has gathered the energy necessary to bring me back. I'm told that our new guests have had a say in it- if that is the case, then you have my thanks.

[There's a thoughtful pause before he continues.]

As a token of my gratitude, I have created an garden of food to lessen your burden on Hope. Both parties will benefit from its creation, and so I trust that it will be tended with respect.

It will grow as the week goes on and I return to my former strength. Do let me know if anything disagrees with your systems and I'll remove it.

Would you say your kind is more harmonious?

I believe we are. Barring the occasional disagreement, as you are all unfortunately witness to, here.

What usually causes these disagreements, if they're only occasional?

Differing personalities, I'd imagine. We're not all the same, though we generally are more peaceful than this.

What is about the current disagreement that's made it less peaceful than normal?

Well- the fact that we died had some effect on it. Hope and Fear were the only ones alive.

It's a bit like being forced to coexist with someone who annoys you to no end.

[Oddly, despite the influence the god's revival is exercising over Hadriel right now, that gets a smile out of him. But it goes unseen, of course. And his voice is as casual as ever.] Yes, I have experience with those types of arrangements. [As the annoying one, more often than the annoyed one.]

Were your deaths or the cause of them the upsetting thing? [Yes, that doesn't sound like a weird question at all, thank you, Near.]

I'm sure that dying was traumatic for the others. I, however, had faith in Hope to revive us, which he's proven successful at so far.
