[Chris smiles and gives a small wave at the camera when the feed starts, then turns his hand to show Hope's blessing on the back of it.]

So uh, who else got one? And are they all from Hope, or...?

Oh, also, my iPhone was up and working for a bit thanks to Pell, and I managed to get some music off it. I'll share on the condition no one makes fun of my taste.

[The last comment is a joke--he's really not going to be too hurt by jabs about his choice in music--but the offer is serious, and attached is a download of the music he's copied off so far. It's kind of a slow process, so there's still more on the phone that he can transfer later.]

Ah, got it. If you want to find out which power you have and what it does you could probably ask Hope or Delight.

[They're both chill. Or well, Hope's not exactly chill, but he's not terrifying either.]

The music thing? I had it on my iPhone from home, so when Pell got that working I just played the music on the iPhone and made an audio recording with these phones we got here.

Interesting. It seems that many are attempting to make up for what they don't possess here. Do you know of any other attempts being made?

You mean like things people are doing to make life more normal? It sort of varies and I don't know everything, but there's been stuff like getting coffee in the bar and my friend's learning to make custom clothes.

I see. Does your friend do requests?

I can't say for sure, but probably yeah. Her name's Emily; you can send her a message and ask about anything specific.

Yes. I arrived with the coat hangers and the monsters with talons and horns.

[It marked the first time in a long time Chara hadn't been able to kill something in one hit. It made for a refreshing change of pace.]

That sucks; those were some of the worst monsters I've seen show up with the new arrivals.

[They were super not cool. Chris doesn't regret choosing that month to go into the arena for the first time, since Hannah had arrived, but he really would've preferred incendiary fireflies or.]

They were interesting. I have met monsters before but they were not like those beasts.

[While monsters in the Underground could come with claws, many of them didn't use them...beyond a few.]

Are monsters a thing in your world, then?

[The only monsters Chris knows of for sure from his own world are wendigos and those are definitely not friendly.]

Yes. They are much more friendly, however.

[They were more likely to hand you ice cream than fight, the Undying aside. Even Sans was friendly, once upon a time. And then there's...

I wouldn't be apposed to them coming here but I believe it would end badly.

Well, have you ever tried asking the wendigos out for a tea party? It's like that.]

Yes. It would be bad because they are not used to monsters like this.

[There was only one, a demon, and that was Chara. Look how that turned out. There's only two that Chara would count on surviving here, beyond their partner.]

Okay, true. But then again most of the people here aren't used to monsters like this.

[Or, like him and some of his friends, were still really new to the idea when they got here.]

Are they a skeleton? Very few humans seem to be used to monsters in general. Both friendly and non-friendly.

[And Chara had next to no faith that humans and monsters could live in peace. The monsters from this place probably wouldn't help with the idea that there could be friendly ones either.]

Yeah, and has a ridiculous amount of puns about it.

I think friendly monsters are the rarest for sure. There's some people here used to fighting monsters in their worlds.

[And though that had sounded crazy at first, he's getting pretty used to the idea now.]

[Yup, that's Sans.]

Then it is him. The puns are...a give-away. He is an interesting monster. I see. Hopefully it doesn't bring too much conflict.

[Though Chara is willing to bet it will.]

Yeah, he's probably the least threatening monster I've ever met. Are you friends, or...?

[Who knows with people here.]

So far it's just been pretty useful, since some of the monsters actually come from people's worlds.

I was friends with his brother, Papyrus, before he passed away.

[Which also isn't technically a lie.]

Oh? I did not know that. Is the manner that brings us here the same that draws them in?

[He knew Sans had a brother, but not any of the rest of that.]

We don't know for sure but yeah, probably.

No idea; I'm actually not sure how many monsters are from other people here's worlds but I know some came from mine.
