[ It's Hannah's network debut! The teen looks cheerful enough, for a person trapped in a monster-infested cave nightmare, standing in front of one of her city-decoration projects. ]

Does it work? I know everyone hates when people hit "reply to all" on e-mail, but I haven't really used this thing yet, and I thought I should introduce myself to everyone. We're all stuck here, so... better to have names to go with the faces, right?

[ Hannah, no, this isn't an online college course. ]

My name's Hannah - Hannah Washington. My brother Josh is here, too, and... I'm from the same place as Chris, Ashley, and Emily, if you've met them.

[ She isn't exactly sure how long her friends have been in Hadriel, but it's been longer than her own one-month period for sure. ]

Um - So, I got some cookies for painting, I guess. From Hope, maybe? Are they safe to eat? I know that the "gods" aren't all the same in how bad they are, but if there's any chance of them being risky, maybe it'd be better to throw them away.

[ Hannah pauses, tucking some hair behind her ear. Behind her, occasionally visible, are paintings of butterflies on the walls. ]

Disappointing? [ Hannah questions, with a little laugh. ] What do you mean?

[ yep, like the fabric. she knows it's unusual. ] It's a family name. You can call me Cash.

All the food here is ... Weird. It doesn't taste like you remember it or the texture is wrong. Hope probably wouldn't make you sick on purpose.

Okay. [ Cash reminds her a little of Jess and she perks up, glad to have (potentially) made friends with this girl. Woman. ] Thanks.

Weird? Huh. [ Hannah doesn't test out the cookie (yet), but she does look curious. ] Maybe they can't figure out how to make us regular food, so they have to create their own, weird versions? ... The cookies look the same, though.

[ Cash could use more friends. Especially ones who seem to be normal. Please be normal, Hannah. She nods in acknowledgment of the thanks. ]

I don't think the gods eat. So it's not like they'd know the difference. [ she shrugs. ] I've only eaten one thing I regretted here, even if some of it's been disappointing.

[ Hannah is 100% normal. Lucky you, Cash! ]

Right, that... makes sense. [ In a crazy monster cave where there are actual gods, anyway. ] Mind if I ask what you ate that was bad?

[ nothing special, just human meat. it's fine it's fine it's fine. Cash realizes pretty quickly that she doesn't want to answer that completely truthfully. ]

Oh - it was these little meat pies from home. I thought they were lamb. [ she makes a face. ] They made me sick. [ sick, into a monster. whatever. ]

[ Hannah makes a face in return. ]

I'm sorry that happened. It sounds pretty gross.

[ She shouldn't be surprised that the 'gods' who kidnapped them (or whatever) would give them bad food. ]

One of my friends did tell me not to eat the meat stuff when I first got here.
