[Pardon Rashid while he's enjoying the music a little -too- much. And it seems he's found some new threads while he's at it.]
This is much better than a few days ago. I feel like a million bucks!
[And speaking of bucks, there's a large oryx behind him. He sort of nudges Rashid and demands pets.]
Oh, and don't mind my new buddy here. He's really cool. Just showed up after this weird sound and wanted attention. This is normal around here, right?

[Rin is all grins as he admires the oryx. He has been easily awe-struck and fascinated up to this point with the new world, Rashid and his Oryx are no different.]
"Yea, familiars are totally normal!" [He thinks...] I have one back home named Kuro!
[So he hasn't learned yet that these aren't familiars, especially not like the one he has back home. But, he's a dense fifteen-year-old, give him a little slack.]

Kuro's so cool! He's a two-tailed black cat that can become huge! He's super powerful. How did you make friends with your... uh.... What kind is that one called?
[Because Rin is pretty... lacking in his knowledges here. Hell, as far as he's concerned, that's a type of demon that just closely resembles an animal.]

This guy? He's an oryx. He just showed up a little while ago and I guess he's here to stay? Not sure yet, but if he is, I gotta brush up on my animal care.
[He hopes the phone has an app for that.]

[Rin's eyes light up as he thinks about how badly he wants to pet it. He can hardly wait to find all of his friends so he can talk about how he met someone else with a familiar.]

[No he doesn't. He's irresponsible, and what he thinks he knows how to take care of is a demon. Please don't listen to him, Rashid.]

What does an exorcist do, then? Is it like in the movies where you cast out evil demons who throw stuff around the room?

Yea, I guess it's kind of like the movies? But, creepy possession doesn't happen a lot. They kind of walk around and show up wherever and we go to help people and stop the demons from destroying everything.
[Of course, one of the first ones he saw was a possession. And there's Satan. But that seems to be reserved for more powerful demons.]
