Still, a little time later there's a knock knock on the door of their house. ]

( thankfully, Matt is a simple pup. and a simple pup still trying to get over shock, so when the knock comes, when Rosie turns up, he just kind of assumes she knows one of the others or something.

really, he doesn't care one way or the other, just that it can now be out of their freezer. so, after a short moment, he appears at the door with said hand. )

Hey. ( and, offering a tupperware box with it... sort of squashed a little inside. okay, they didn't have anything of the right size. ) Didn't have much else for it. Sorry.

Uh. Hey. [ She thinks of cracking a joke like 'you got the stuff,' but it feels a little... lacking tact. It is her hand, but, still. There's probably a line that shouldn't be drawn here.

So she takes the hand unceremoniously, trying not to hold her gaze on it for too long. ]

I didn't meet him. Just- ( shoot what's his name ) - Dr. Gottlieb?

Oh! Hermann. Well, they kind of go together so... Newt and Hermann, yeah. Thry're both good dudes!

[ They're a matched set now, in her eyes. She hopes they never lose one another again. She remembers what a mess Newt was the last time Hermann disappeared in Haven. Especially knowing what it meant. ]

Guess I still need to meet, um, Newt. ( he can jive with them. Hermann seemed alright, if not a bit- uhhh... crabby. but Matt did break the door. )

He, uh. He can be a bit much at first, but he definitely grows on you.

[ Opposites really do attract it seems like in the case of Newt and Hermann. Rose finds that they compliment each other well, but... She tries not to pry too much. Just as long as they're happy. ]

Anyway, uh. Thanks for this. Really. I don't have any other limbs to find so hopefully the last time we'll have this exchange.

( hey, he knows all about opposites attract. that seems to be his taste too. balance, and all of that.

he does manage a laugh at that last part, even if it's slightly tempered by the thought that... well, that could be a thing, right? this place seemed to have no real concept of the level of reality Matt was used to operating on. )
