Hellllooooo Hadriel!

[ So. Someone's cheery. One wouldn't think so what with the cave being restored to its 'former glory.' ]

Sure is a bummer that Tranquility's good times ended, huh? [ Understatement of the year. ] Fret not, however, for I have taken it upon myself to plan for Love's inevitable - and fashionably late - arrival!

[ Do you have a bad feeling yet? You should. ]

How, you ask? Well! Easy. I've started charting out the ships down here in the cave. What's a 'ship,' you ask? A ship is short for 'relationship'! This can be any kind, really, but the actual fun is in ones of the romantic sort. [ An oh so innocent bat of her eyelashes. ]

There's a couple obvious ones, there's those who have loved and lost, there's the hopeful buddings of new relationships, and of course we're always wondering who are deities are into.

[ No? Just her? Alright then. ]

You can find the list I've started attached and, please, add to it as you see fit! I'll make the changes accordingly. I'll even try to keep it up to date, so! If any changes happen after the fact - break-ups, make-ups, or unfortunate farewells - feel free to hit me up personally and let me know. This way, Love can be up to speed upon arrival.

it's not because they look like me. it's because I know what it's like to have to do something most people deem 'terrible' just to survive
i also know what it's like to be thought of as something 'evil' without being given a chance to show I'm not

hell, i'll fight for them if I have to because I believe i'm doing the right thing, a GOOD thing, by helping them rebuild their people and this place

What kind of CHANCE we're talking about unknown entities who're taking people against their will even bringing in horrific monsters hurting people that never asked to be involved in any of this you're either crazy or a fool or BOTH for acting like you're some kind of hero and these things need protecting what part of they're NOT LIKE US don't you understand? There's a lot of things, really!
Opposites attract is a big one. Kind of like you and Hope are really two sides of the same coin. Hope can be a great feeling, but when things don't go as you hope it can hurt like a bitch and make you sad instead.
Delight and Rage are one of those too, actually, in that you wouldn't think anger and happiness go together but sometimes they do in unexpected ways! Like maybe a bit of violence is cathartic and leaves you feeling better?
Fear and Hope are what we call a 'hateship.' People that outwardly seem to dislike each other but deep down do care about one another.
Confusion and Tranquility... Them? They actually just look really good together in my opinion.

So your reasons are less because of our personalities and interactions and more because of the emotions we represent, with the exception of Fear and Hope, who you want to see together because they dislike one another.

Like you and Hope are both kind of a bit more serious. Though he's the dreamer and you're the realist; you help keep him grounded and he lifts you up!
Rage is all fierce and kickass but Delight could be the one she shows her softer side to and finds comfort in.
Confusion is a spitfire while Tranquility is pretty chill. They balance each other out in that way! He probably finds it funny when she sasses people but helps make sure she doesn't go TOO far.
