Much as I would have preferred not to be pulled unceremoniously from my own world, it has occurred to me that this is a rare opportunity to learn about worlds I was previously unaware of.
[In other words, this is her polite way of saying "I'm bored, entertain me".]
How many are from worlds were magic exists? How many are from worlds where the technology is highly advanced?
[She's more interested in the magic portion, really, but she is curious about people's answers regardless.]
What is the government structure like in your world?
Inquiring minds want to know. Or this one does, at least.

Re: Audio
[A hum of curiosity escapes Regis as he tries to look up her location. He honestly hasn't explored much of Hadriel given the injury he endured during his arrival. However, it doesn't seem as if this friendly woman is that far from him. Perhaps a few blocks at best.
He'll have to take his specter with him. Walking about with this bad knee without a proper cane is a terrible idea. The wounds are still healing. Noctis is probably too exhausted for a trip right now, even at the promise of tea.]
I shall gather my things and arrive shortly. Make sure to keep the pot warm for me.
[Regis chuckles quietly.]
I'll leave a message with my son and set off. He may or may not join us. The Crown Prince hasn't been well.
Audio
[Either way, she'll have enough tea ready for company. They can chat about magic, and she can appreciate knowing that there are at least some people in this place whom she's likely to get along with.]
audio; ❧ action
I'm setting off now. I shall arrive before the hour strikes three.
[With that final farewell, Regis sets out into Hadriel feeling fairly confident about this realm despite his obvious misgivings. The chaos that unfolded within the coliseum left Regis feeling a tad sour but his worry revolves around the Gods who've laid claim to this world. A tinge of fear clings to him as he wanders down these streets alone. There's sparsely anyone out here except for a few scavengers and they don't look particularly friendly.
The King of Light hurriedly makes his way until he finally reaches his destination. Like he promised, he arrives as soon as the clock struck three.]
Hrm? [He pauses briefly before approaching the front door of this quiant home but it's less like a home and more like a manor in his opinion. Ikaruga did say that she found a decent home.] She's quite fortunate.
[Regis gently leans forward and taps his knuckles against the door ever so gently. These houses in Hadriel are all so oddly shaped. It's like some sort of whimsical fairytale rather than the nightmare it ought to be. This world feels oddly innocent despite all the dangers that lurk.]
action
The tea is in the process of boiling when she answers the door, moving with graceful steps.]
Welcome. Please come in and make yourself comfortable.
[She holds the door open and stands to the side, letting Regis enter before she closes the door behind him.]
Re: action
He's fortunate that his black leather shoes surivived the scuffle. Despite being cast away to this horrid backwater world, Regis should be afforded some luxuries and there's nothing more luxurious than owning a pair of Louis Vuitton boots. Netherless, Regis is impeccably dressed despite the limited clothing option.]
Greetings onto you, my lady. [He says respectfully with another gracious bow to follow. Despite clutching a cane, Regis honestly maintains some level of grace about him. He's a dapper gentleman.]
I thank you for your hospitality.
[He takes a quick look around before awaiting for the lady to follow. It dons upon him that he never gotten her name and a hint of embarrassment settles in.]
Pray, do not judge me too harshly for such a blunder but I never caught your name.
action
[The phones have names in them, but getting used to them and this new world is taking some time. Regis carries himself with the sort of grace and composure that's very fitting to his station, she notes.
Her mannerisms are still every bit as ladylike as how she was raised to be. You can take the girl out of the nobility, but you can't take the nobility out of the girl. Not entirely, anyway. Looking at her, one wouldn't think she was the warrior and dangerous mercenary that she is. The only evidence visible to those who know what to look for is in where the skin has toughened in her hands. It's not rough and course, but the subtle signs of someone who has trained with a sword are there. Watching her chop vegetables for dinner would be another subtle indicator that she knows her way around a blade, but she invited Regis for tea, not dinner.]
Please have a seat, King Regis.
[She'll use his shortened title until asked not to, simply out of manners. She's avoiding the full title because it's a mouthful.]
Re: action
[A faint smile lingers upon his lips. He's grateful that Ikaruga didn't attempt to refer to him by his full title. Regis is quite aware that his royal name is ridiculously long.]
There's no need for formalities between acquaintances.
[He takes a seat upon a chair nearby in hopes of getting a tad comfortable. Regis is slightly on edge but it's not Ikaruga's fault. If anything, the city itself takes the blame, especially nowdays.]
action
[The water for the has come to a full boil, and she pours it with the sort of care that would have earned her an approving nod from her etiquette teacher. It doesn't slosh, or make undue noise. It's just a steady flow of water until their cups are sufficiently full.]
Apologies. I don't have any milk or sugar, but the tea I was able to find is naturally just a little sweet on its own.
Re: action
[Please note how he slips in the politeness but doesn't require any sort of formalities on his part. Regis is quite thankful not to wear any titles right now but he's a little old fashioned.]
Milk and sugar seems to be a luxury here in this awful city.
[While he normally has both in his teas, Regis can honestly go without.]
Tell me, when you first arrived---did you also awake within the coliseum?
action
[Her tone is playful enough, but firm. In leaving behind that title, she left behind the obligations associated with it and achieved independence.]
I did, and encountered some tremendously rude rosebushes, as the young man near me at the time described them. Troublesome things, those plant creatures.
