The animals here are weird. [And none of them seem to take to him. He rolls his shoulders and bites, somewhat aggressively, into a pear.] Every day I'm attacked by something.

[ it's nearly an hour before ahsoka responds, but she tells herself that it isn't aversion. she's out, doing patrols, keeping to herself. keeping tabs on the other force users in the city, too, so they can't surprise her. it's just that she doesn't usually talk on the comms while she's patrolling. when she does answer, she's sitting near the city outskirts. ]

Your grandson is very strong in the Force. He's full of potential that I worry he may never reach.

[Ah and there she is - as he expected her to be, though later than he had hoped. Anakin is walking back to the apartment he shares with Ben and Hux, the hood of his cloak drawn over his features. For her, however, he pushes it back, looking amused.]

Why shouldn't he reach it if he has a capable teacher?

That's my concern. Capable is a pretty vague term when it comes to teachers.

A fitting teacher is more important and I don't know that he's found the right one yet.

They should. She's a fierce opponent.

It's not a matter of finding you lacking, Anakin. You were a great teacher for me, in a way no one else could have been. [ she would have turned out differently with anyone else for a master, she knows that. anakin should know it, too. ]

I only want what's best for him and considering his potential, I think that's a path of balance, with whatever teacher is going to lead him there. The teachers he's had before don't sound like they were right for him.
