Many of you seem to be unhappy.

We don't all necessarily want you to be happy, but acceptance and adaptation to your situation would be a start. The only question that remains is: how?

It is clear to us that your species resolves many issues through communication. Unfortunately, none of us understand the human psyche as clearly as others of your species, and so I leave it to you to communicate with and to help one another.

You may consider this post an open forum in which you can discuss what's been bothering you. In turn, I will conceal your identities, so that you may help one another without preconceived biases. If you'd like to reveal yourselves to one another, the option is there, but unnecessary.

Heal. Recover.

It hardly matters. My life ended before I came here. The gods are an enemy to be broken underfoot, regardless of any platitudes they might offer. This is their fault.

here you are, stronger and more splendid than ever. the gods are certainly an inconvenience, but why let them spoil this for you?

the gods can be assholes, but they're the reason you're not dead. that's not exactly something an enemy would do or want, right?

It would depend entirely on the enemy. And they are the reason I have died four times since coming here.

He likes to say that, yes.

i've died a few times too, but you don't see me ready to storm the temples

[Both times were mercy kills, though. And on some level, Emily still believes she deserves this fate, to be stuck here and be tormented, to die and be resurrected, an endless cycle of paying for what she helped cause on the mountain.]

Sounds to me like you've found a pretty good reason to keep on living here. That matters.

If you're living and breathing right now then your life isn't over. I don't agree with what the gods are doing here, but your second existence in Hadriel is also a second chance to addressing any past mistakes and/or regrets.

Hardly. Regret is foolish and accomplishes nothing. And my actions mean little to the dead.
