Many of you seem to be unhappy.

We don't all necessarily want you to be happy, but acceptance and adaptation to your situation would be a start. The only question that remains is: how?

It is clear to us that your species resolves many issues through communication. Unfortunately, none of us understand the human psyche as clearly as others of your species, and so I leave it to you to communicate with and to help one another.

You may consider this post an open forum in which you can discuss what's been bothering you. In turn, I will conceal your identities, so that you may help one another without preconceived biases. If you'd like to reveal yourselves to one another, the option is there, but unnecessary.

Heal. Recover.

I don't know what to do with the fact I don't hate him and I don't want to painfully murder him anymore even if I'm still angry. I especially don't know what to do with the fact that he's the first person I actually enjoy spending time with. I don't know what to do with the fact he feels the same.

That's ridiculous. Just because I don't want to kill him doesn't mean it's love by default. It's just strange and I'm not sure how to approach it.

you gotta admit it's kind of the premise to a classic love story
but hey, sometimes the people we hate have a lot going on with em. once you find out why they do what they do, it's not weird to change your mind

I wonder if this "anon" is blushing. They seem like the type to become quite flustered.

I wouldn't say I was flustered so much as annoyed. This is entirely his fault for putting me in this situation.

Things were so much simpler when I could abandon him on a frozen wasteland planet for a bit. Perhaps it's being away from our duties that has helped, but I'm still blaming him.

Dear Anon,

You must be new to this game of chess that we deem as "amour". Take heart, I'm certain your feelings shall reach them and if not, it's bound to be humorous.

It's not a game I'm familiar with and I don't like being at a disadvantage in this situation.

look on the bright side, dearheart. it would be so much worse if he didn't feel the same.

plus you can always murder him later.

That's true, that's one consolation about this mess.

I love these little selfcontained reality enclaves. Especially ones where the proprietors can perform resurrections. I have to admit I can only really enjoy a good murder when I know it won't be permanent.

It can be enjoyable even when it's not permanent, depending on how it's done. But I have a soft spot for torture as well.

You never enjoyed spending time with anyone before him? How old are you?

Professionally, yes. On a personal level like this, no.

I suggest using your time here to explore interests outside of what you used to do professionally. Then you will always have new things to talk about together and be able to enjoy one another's company all the more for it.

We don't exactly have interests outside of what we do professionally. Well, at least not that much.
