Many of you seem to be unhappy.
We don't all necessarily want you to be happy, but acceptance and adaptation to your situation would be a start. The only question that remains is: how?
It is clear to us that your species resolves many issues through communication. Unfortunately, none of us understand the human psyche as clearly as others of your species, and so I leave it to you to communicate with and to help one another.
You may consider this post an open forum in which you can discuss what's been bothering you. In turn, I will conceal your identities, so that you may help one another without preconceived biases. If you'd like to reveal yourselves to one another, the option is there, but unnecessary.
Heal. Recover.

It is more that what they learned about will result in pain for them in the future. I am unsure how to proceed in helping them.
But don't people normally want more than just 'thank you' for helping someone heal?

yeah, sometimes. like i said, it's a good place to start. shows them you were thinking about it, at least. a chance to pay it forward will present itself naturally. don't force it, it'll make it seem disengenius.

People here come and go. My friend learned something about their own future that involves me hurting them. I do not know how to proceed in making them feel better.
I am used to people asking for more than just a 'thank you', so I suppose I am not used to just starting there.

the question is, what kind of name would it be? we already got monsters breathing down our necks, not sure if adding bounty hunters to the mix would be that fun. doubly so now that i can't skip town, much less country.
...on second thought, i'm not sure who they could turn me into anyway. not much of a government around here! which is bloody fantastic, for the record. would be perfect if we weren't stuck in a cave!
