Many of you seem to be unhappy.

We don't all necessarily want you to be happy, but acceptance and adaptation to your situation would be a start. The only question that remains is: how?

It is clear to us that your species resolves many issues through communication. Unfortunately, none of us understand the human psyche as clearly as others of your species, and so I leave it to you to communicate with and to help one another.

You may consider this post an open forum in which you can discuss what's been bothering you. In turn, I will conceal your identities, so that you may help one another without preconceived biases. If you'd like to reveal yourselves to one another, the option is there, but unnecessary.

Heal. Recover.

[Aww, man, you can't just dangle a mysterious sentence like that in front of a cat-monster and then not complete it. He's not into gossip at all, but the goings-on of ghost-Pokemon-things definitely pique his interest, especially here where there are no other Pokemon around.]

If you are missing an acquaintance from home, it is possible that they will arrive at a later date. Many here seem to know each other from their home worlds. [That's probably the closest he can get to actually helpful and comforting!

Doors can easily be removed. They are not necessary, even for humans.

[They're not really sure what exactly happened to their cousin, but if he did show up... he probably wouldn't want to hang around with the person who kept him from his dreams.

That's... fine. They don't want to get in anyone's way. He's happier out there, wherever he is.

doors aren't all bad... they help you avoid awkward conversations sometimes...

He's not a friendly person. He doesn't reveal his identity. He barely even hangs out in town.

But this is...a different circumstance, right? This is a fellow non-human, at least in spirit. And they don't seem dangerous at all - not dangerous enough to challenge him, anyway. And as far as he can tell, these conversations become more or less private when identities are exchanged.

Then that is why you were transformed. For some reason, the gods - or the Door - needed you to be corporeal. [THIS IS ALL VERY INTERESTING. He's going to have to investigate this more. Also interesting: meeting someone??? He understands that this is normal, for most people, of course, but it just...isn't something he's done much himself. Although he has met plenty of other Pokemon - so perhaps he should just think of it like that. The only real difference is that most Pokemon don't type. Right? Having acquaintances isn't that bad...]
