Many of you seem to be unhappy.

We don't all necessarily want you to be happy, but acceptance and adaptation to your situation would be a start. The only question that remains is: how?

It is clear to us that your species resolves many issues through communication. Unfortunately, none of us understand the human psyche as clearly as others of your species, and so I leave it to you to communicate with and to help one another.

You may consider this post an open forum in which you can discuss what's been bothering you. In turn, I will conceal your identities, so that you may help one another without preconceived biases. If you'd like to reveal yourselves to one another, the option is there, but unnecessary.

Heal. Recover.

That is both a shame and a relief.

Still, there are many who would challenge you especially if Palpatine was out of the way. It won't be easy even for a powerful Sith like you.

They can try. I welcome the challenge.

But I'm not going down easily. I have a reason they don't.

I would die for my family; I would kill for my family. Does that make sense to you?

It makes sense but you're right in saying that I could never really understand that motivation.

It inflames me and makes me stronger. I won't let anyone stand in the way.

I have no doubt as to that, given what I've observed.

You must find your own reasons or you will fail.

I have no intention of carrying out my father's legacy or even Tarkin's. My reason is that I know there is no one more suitable to bring order and stability to the galaxy.

No one else can do what I can and did do.

Is that good enough? Is that strong enough? To know you are the best might not be enough. Especially when others disagree with you.

Where is your passion, Hux?

I know it is. I am what remains of the Empire- I watched it fall and crumble.

Not only did we lose what stability there was in the galaxy, I lost everything as well. My home planet, everything I knew. I was raised to serve the Empire and I will ensure its survival by any means necessary.

I can't decide if that was fortuitous or not. The Empire wasn't what I foresaw; it wasn't what I wanted.

I'm not sure what it became, but if it did some good... [As long as he can keep Padmé alive somehow.]

Be angry, then. Be vengeful.

The Empire had many flaws but it provided order and stability. However, the Emperor's plan was flawed.

[Stay angry? Done, he's pretty much always angry. Angry ginger.]

That is not difficult. That anger allowed me to destroy the Republic.

Because the Emperor was flawed. I would have been so much better! And I will be. Now that I know.

Hold onto it. Don't let yourself soften.

I grew up in the Imperial military, on Imperial star destroyers, raised by an Imperial Grand Admiral.

It's in my blood, I will never soften.

All of that is promising, but it's what's inside of you that counts. You can't allow yourself to let your fear interfere with what you know you need to do.

I have never let that happen.

It's what made it possible for me to completely destroy the Republic like no one else ever could. I may not be Force sensitive but that has never stopped me.

That doesn't mean you won't be tempted. Under the right circumstances, people can do a lot of surprising things.
