Okay, so I totally get that some of you are turning into horrific monsters hellbent on murdering everyone. And like, I feel super bad for you and I hope that gets fixed.

But guys, I finally managed to figure out Hope's OS and I coded Pong!

You can download and play it on your phones. I just finished an option that lets you change the color of your paddles and I'm working on a multiplayer so you can link up to your friends and play against them. Maybe someday we can have tournaments!

And uh... yeah, sorry about the whole cannibalism thing. That really sucks.

[He admits, with a sigh.]

You better hope your luck holds out, I dunno how far Pong's gonna get you in this place.

Judging from the reaction from people, I'd say not very far.

[Rhys lets out a humorless chuckle.]

I guess I'll keep my future game releases to myself. Their loss.

[She sounds like she's going to say something else, but she stops short and utters a short hum instead.]

...I do actually want to play Space Invaders. Just putting that out there.

Oh, I see how it is.

[He sounds a little more relieved than snide, but really, it's Rhys. Smugness is an inherent part of him.]

No Tetris?

[The eyeroll is practically audible.]

Tetris might be easier to code than space invaders...

Is that a 'yes' for you to be on the beta list?

...so... what's like, the level of crisis that would still be appropriate for video game releases?

Zombies and natural disasters are okay. Famine, probably. Fire might be okay, depending on how much fire there is.

Accidental cannibalism and forced monster transformations are no-goes though, got it.

[There's a sound, like- yeah, he's actually writing this down. You never know!]

I mean, in a certain light, this is sort of pestilence, which can be considered a brother to famine, right? So really, I'm still doing okay.

[cashlin]

Pushin' it. This is pestilence and murder, the conditions stack.

[There's a science to this somewhere. Good on you for takin' notes, Rhysie.]

Nothing! But Ms. Pac-Man should get to be a main character too.

Or is she suddenly the bad guy for eating ghosts just cause she's a Ms?

[looks into the camera like she's on the office]

Hey man, I'm always here for women in video games. We need more diversity in this day and age!

I will make you a Pac Man with a bow and lipstick and mascara and she will represent progress, baby!
