Chris offers a small grin and a wave at the camera.]

Okay, so, I feel like I should say that I'm not announcing anything horrible about monsters this time. Just... Making that clear upfront.

[Is everyone relieved? Good.]

Instead, Cashmere and I are taking a super important poll.

[He glances toward Cashmere, waiting to see if she wants to continue from here.]

Very important. [ She agrees and pauses for a moment, fixing her hair in the camera. ]

I'm sure you’ve all noticed Chris and I have something special in common. So we need to know who else out there shares our special quality. Are you blonde?

[ Yes, she is serious. ]

We're here to make sure those of us who are blonde are having the most fun. If you're not having fun, we’ll think of a way to fix that.

[ She glances to Chris. Ideas?

Chris looks over at her in response, then fixes the video with a serious expression.]

Yeah. And if you are having fun, could you like... Tell us your secrets? Because that'd be pretty awesome.

[That covers the totally important stuff, he thinks. Any last remarks, Cashmere?]

Non-blondes need not reply. [ That should win some friends. ]

[He grins back, even if his tone is mockingly offended.]

Uh, only if your idea of 'best' is something different from objectively 'best'.

As it's generally your only kind of planning, I guess, [ she makes it sound as if she's conceding ] for you, it's your best.

Whatever plan I'm talking about, since I don't totally remember, is definitely the best.

[What are they even talking about again? Oh right, blonds and fun. The most important of all plans.]

You have the attention span of a child, Chris. [ it's okay, tho. ]

It's the technology. You know it's totally ruined our generation or whatever.

That or it's all the caffeine I've had today.

Or it's a combination of the two. I'm actually surprised you're not going through a tech-energy drink withdrawal combo here. [ it's not like it's easy to get a case of his favorite energy drink here, and gaming is basically out of the question (save for pong). ]

Urgh, don't remind me, Ash.

[It's almost a good thing he's been so distracted with possible imminent death.]

At least Rhys is working on more games, and we have coffee. If it was neither there'd be a serious problem.

What, would you hallucinate people as giant energy drinks and gaming systems? [ like something straight out of a child's cartoon. ]

[He grins a little at that mental image, but then his expression shifts to a smirk.]

Worse. You'd all have to deal with me being both bored and bitchy at the same time.

And, what, a good amount of cuddling wouldn't have cured any of that?

[He does a very good job of pretending not to be flustered at that, if he does say so himself.]

Well, you know, it certainly wouldn't have hurt.

[ He does a good job, but not good enough. Ash grins, and it lingers on the flirtatious. ]

We'll have to remember that if we ever run out of coffee here, then.

[It's a good thing they're already dating because he is not good at this flirtatious stuff. Shocking, surely.]

Yeah. I mean, it's definitely a possibility here. Running out of coffee or whatever.

[ She laughs quietly. He's such a nerd, but the endearing kind of nerdy; her kind of nerdy. ]

And we can always cuddle with a cup of coffee, if you ever need an extra pick-me-up.

[He offers a small, somewhat shy but very genuine smile.]

Yeah, that'd uh... That'd be nice. Whenever.

[ if she smiles any wider she'll begin to look like a fool, so she dips her head instead. ]
