[ Floki was furious. Never had he felt so passionately insulted before! It was as if everyone on these stupid Islands had been brainwashed!

He had heard several peoples views on the Gods most just called them that for ease as no one truly believe them to be deities at all, yet here everyone was, joining forces with them like loyal little followers!

No, he had had enough! Something had to be done about it. Unbeknownst to Floki, he himself would end up being a puppet to a false God here too. ]

Come, come to me so that I might shower upon you my burning rage! False Gods and false people are one in the same, you're all going to die in your quest of lies and unholy adventure!

[ He spat off to the side. Oh, he was enraged! Never before had he seen so many people willing to engage in blasphemy, it was enough to send him into a fit of rage-fueled murder!

[He's very used to being yelled at for little to no reason, so this whole thing doesn't really bother him; it would more if it were in person, and Connor might feel tempted to retaliate, but in this instance he's just kind of amusing himself watching the human's face chance colors.

Though once he finally explains, Connor actually... Can't really blame him for being angry.]

There was surprisingly little resistance to agreeing to assist the beings those here call 'gods'.

[So he's... Almost on Floki's side in this? Why are the people here so quick to join in helping the gods, even if they're getting something out of it in return? He's still wondering why the public opinion seems so on their side, despite some token protesting about how bad they are.]

[ Even back home, if Floki went off on a tangent about the Gods, the other Vikings would just let him vent. The same for when he picked a fight with someone. Sure, Ragnar might try and break it up but in the end, they all knew Floki was very passionate about the Gods. He felt personally attacked and would fight tooth and nail to prove to his Gods that he loved them above all others. ]

I came with fire in my belly, attacked the idea that the Gods here were fake and I was treated like a fool! Told over and over again that no one believed they were Gods and most despised them so... Yet here we are... Fickle and unworthy, no care for their eternal souls... It sickens and saddens me but most of all it enrages me!

[...Still dramatic, but at least he seems dramatic in a more agreeable way now? Also Connor doesn't really disagree on his points, at least about the people here, and he's considering if Floki might be a potentially useful ally in the future on this subject.]

I've noticed the sentiment regarding the gods has been overall more positive than I would've expected. There's something to be said for not antagonizing them, considering the situation, but this goes beyond that.

[ Floki would gladly ally himself with someone who felt the same way about the ones calling themselves Gods here. He knows he's a little more passionate, eccentric even, about the topic, but sitting on the fence and pleasing everyone wasn't his way of life. ]
