[The whole Fear event was massively tiring for Komaeda. Both physically and mentally. He decides to shut himself house for a few days, trying to recover his health. Nobody needs to know. They've got other things to worry about more than him. Besides, if they discover how truly worried he was, it could end very badly.

Even so, he has to check on the people who called him their friend and make sure they are okay. That they are not dead or they have not actually left the city for good.]

Well, that was certainly an eventful few days. Or shall I say uneventful, depending on your opinion? Either way, it's wonderful that everyone is back! Or most of us anyway. [At least he hopes that the people who called him his friends are back.] It was certainly a massively trying ordeal. However, perhaps we can look at this in a positive light? Even if it wasn't intentional on Fear's part, one might say it was a test to see how we could work together and merge our hopes together into one and let it shine over the darkness of despair!

And in the end, our efforts did pay off. Hope did come after all! The city is back to normal. What a wonderful relief!

[Jo doesn't really want to give Fear the benefit of the doubt. They saw what happened when the city was split. This was even worse.]

I have no clue whatsoever! Probably not, if he only wants energy. But that doesn't matter. My point is that people didn't fall to despair. Instead, they faced it head on and didn't give in! They should be proud of themselves! Couldn't you see it as a test in that sense, even if nobody intended it that way?

That sounds sadistic when you put it like that. Of course being terrified isn't good, but none of us are going to have the strength to fight back without obstacles to want to overcome. That's not how hope is created.

You're still around? That's wonderful news! [Well, that is an understatement on his side but he does not want Yusuke to know that. In fact, he almost types how it's hope he survived but then just manages to stop himself.] Although I guess can't say the same about your friend. I guess that when you say 'missing' you don't just mean that you can't find them, right?

None of those. The positive part is that people fought the 'isolationist Hell' we went through and overcame it. [As if it was the most obvious thing ever.]

You could argue that but even if he didn't do what he did, wouldn't Fear have done something else horrible?

[ Oh hey, this is convenient. Drake was going to text Komaeda to check in anyway, now that he's feeling himself again. He replies pretty quickly when it comes in, reading the actual post before the message just to him. ]

I'm here. That wasn't fun, and it was definitely intentional.

[Despite what the post suggested, Komaeda has also been very pissed off by what Fear has done but as far as he is concerned, bad luck is followed by good luck and vice versa so it was inevitable.]

Probably. But the important thing is people gathered together and fought back against such deep despair and hope came out of it!

I was fine. I ended up with a soldier, a sorcerer and a religious lady. Quite a team. But more importantly, it looks like you're okay too, Drake-san. I'm really glad!
