We're back.

Sorrow and I, anyway. I don't know where the others are.

Sorrow's going to go find Hope. I get to stay and see if anyone else stumbles in, and apparently make sure nothing too idiotic happens to any of you. Fun.

[Komaeda actually worked out the culprit behind Caedra's imprisonment very quickly, thanks to his conversations with said culprit. He also promised not to say who the culprit was and intends to keep that promise. However, that does not mean that he cannot do something to perhaps help sway the conversation.]

is it true? that demon who got frozen. is she really gonna be unfrozen? and the gods wont stop her if she decides to kill someone?

some people say that freezing her is gonna open a can of worms. maybe shell go after the person who froze her. but what if she does more than that and goes after everyone?

but ive heard others say we should make plans in case she does something when she goes back to normal. maybe thats a good idea? she hasnt gone on a killing spree here yet but still. what if she does? what if she decides to kill person after person she sees until she finds the person responsible? what if she has something up her sleeve that can kill a bunch of people at once? what if she makes a deal with the gods to take revenge?

im rly scared. i dont wanna die. but i dont know what to do.

[The whole Fear event was massively tiring for Komaeda. Both physically and mentally. He decides to shut himself house for a few days, trying to recover his health. Nobody needs to know. They've got other things to worry about more than him. Besides, if they discover how truly worried he was, it could end very badly.

Even so, he has to check on the people who called him their friend and make sure they are okay. That they are not dead or they have not actually left the city for good.]

Well, that was certainly an eventful few days. Or shall I say uneventful, depending on your opinion? Either way, it's wonderful that everyone is back! Or most of us anyway. [At least he hopes that the people who called him his friends are back.] It was certainly a massively trying ordeal. However, perhaps we can look at this in a positive light? Even if it wasn't intentional on Fear's part, one might say it was a test to see how we could work together and merge our hopes together into one and let it shine over the darkness of despair!

And in the end, our efforts did pay off. Hope did come after all! The city is back to normal. What a wonderful relief!

( When the video switches on, Serah looks deep in contemplation. This is something she's been made to think about for a while, ever since the items from home turned up in the city. But then she was sick, and busy, and time moved on.

So it's a bit of a delayed question, but a question nonetheless. )

How much do the gods here know about us? Does anyone know?

[The video starts with Kiran looking down into the camera, his face taking up most of the frame. There's a film of sweat on his forehead from the heat - or maybe from exercise, since he seems slightly out of breath.]

Hey. My name is Kiran. Welcome to the new people. Enjoy your stay. Or don't. Lemme know if you need a roommate, I guess, but only if you're not a pain in the ass.

Anyway -

[The camera suddenly jerks with movement, spinning away from Kiran's face until it points out at his surroundings. He's standing at the edge of the city, with the desert sprawling out in front of him, seemingly unending.

And... there's a monster. It's standing on the sand, glaring and growling at Kiran, preparing to charge him. But when Kiran speaks again, he's stifling a laugh.]

I think the barrier's back. Check it out - it's freaking hilarious.

[Before he's finished his sentence, the monster screeches and charges straight at him. With a startled and nervous laugh, he stumbles backwards, but the camera is steady enough to catch the monster crashing head-first into the invisible barrier surrounding the city again. It's like watching a dog ram into a glass door... except the dog is, uh, very large. And it's trying to commit murder.

As soon as it crashes not-majestically into the barrier, Kiran erupts into unabashed giggling.]

It's been doing this for the past fifteen minutes! [the sound of him slapping his knee or maybe his face can be heard in the background among his laughs. The monster stumbles around, dazed.]

After dealing with these things for weeks, it's just... oh my God, guys. Somebody bring me some popcorn.

[So, someone looks very perky and cheerful today. Not that he doesn’t look perky and cheerful 98% of the time. However, he seems particularly enthusiastic to talk to everyone as he has decided to talk about his favourite topic ever: HOPE.]

So, this place draws in so many people from other worlds – whether human, superhuman, elf or what have you. So many different walks of life. Many of us have different stories to tell. It’s not just that, though. All of us have faced different degrees of despair here, being stuck in a new world with no apparent way of going home and being away from the ones we care about.

Not to mention that we’ve also been through other incidents of chaos like the Null attacking and certain people betraying us to them. [His smile fades and he looks briefly serious. Curse you Delight.

After a few moments, his carefree and excited demeanour back though.]

No matter what though, I’m sure we can find a way to overcome it all together! There are a ton of us here with all sorts of different talents, supernatural powers and different forms of hope! If we combine all of those, our hopes can grow. They can shine a light so bright that even those who wish to crush that light to dust won’t stand a chance!

Speaking of which, I was wondering – what types of hope do you have? What motivates you to fight against the Null? Do you desire to go home to see your loved ones? Or something else? I’m interested!

[A pale and skinny boy who might be familiar to some appears on the screen, giving a casual wave and perky smile.]

So, there are a lot of monsters about the place, right? Not very safe if you're not a fighter. Which I guess means I should try to change that. So, I was just wondering, if anyone has the time, if they're able to teach a guy like me a little self-defence.

I'll warn you that I'm not a very competent person. Well.....actually, I'm not competent at all! However, I promise I'll do whatever I can to pay you back.

All right, guys. I guess you probably already know where this is going. I managed to catch Delight before she could get out of here, so now we just have to decide what to do with her. Needless to say, we can't agree, and anyway what she did hurt you guys just as much as it did us.

So this decision is gonna be up to you. Obviously there are some options that aren't available - we're not just gonna let her go free. That would be pretty dumb, right? But a lot of us don't want the more extreme options, either.

We'll tell you how we feel in a reply to this. Think about it yourselves, and vote. You'll have about a week to decide.

Man. This sucks.
