Okay, I wish I could say that I can't believe I have to remind people of this, but vigilante justice is not exactly the best idea here. Not only is it morally wrong to just declare yourself to have the authority to decide who is and isn't deserving of 'justice', but it's logically wrong too; you're just going to cause problems, not solve them.

I'm not saying not to intervene when something's actively happening, but going after someone days or weeks later is just starting the whole process of retaliation all over again. So can everyone just take their egos down a notch and, if they're concerned about someone being an active threat or something, work on coming up with some sort of solution that isn't going to make things worse as soon as it's done?

[This is not the first time he's had to go into this discussion while here--or at home--and so that's why he's being extra short about it. He's also not just talking about the recent incident, it's simply what prompted him to say something this time.]

Maybe if it were long term I'd consider it effective despite the moral issue, but it isn't. It's going to last a month, and then things will be worse than they were before, which isn't a solution.

the fuck's the moral issue? lockin up people who try to kill people aint fuckin radical. it aint cruel and unusual punishment to separate somebody who wants to kill people from the people who cant defend themselves

and yknow what? sure. i got a suggestion. back home we had to deal with this kinda fuckin piece of shit that thought he could hurt whoever he wanted with no consequences. yknow what we did? we locked him the fuck up. turned him into a bird and locked him in a cage so he couldnt hurt anybody anymore

we got people here who have magic that can do that or shit thats basically the same fuckin result. so if we want her to stop fuckin hurtin people we make it so she cant hurt people.

I don't think freezing someone as a block of ice is exactly the same thing as convicting someone in a fair trial and sending them to prison.

Okay, even if I didn't have any objection to your suggestion, I'm not seeing anyone volunteering to do such a thing, except for this current batch of temporary cryogenics. So unless you're capable of it, it doesn't sound much like a viable option.
