This is Nick Valentine. Guard, report in with your whereabouts and what you're seeing on your end. Let's get this place scoped out as quick as we can. The sooner we know what we're dealing with on this planet, the better we can adjust.

[Last time, they ended up on completely separate islands, everything having been split in ways he hadn't expected. From what he can tell, things have been rearranged again, though the setup around the Speakeasy definitely rings familiar in the back of his mind.]

For anyone else looking to help, the Guard can always use extra hands. People who don't mind sweeping the streets every now and then, who'll keep an eye on the Colosseum once a month, who can handle themselves and protect others in an emergency. We're not the cops, but someone has to keep the city safe from whatever comes in with the new arrivals, and if that's up your alley, then give me a call.

There's no light in the house, no water. I don't know if other houses are that way. It's getting colder, too -- a good thing it's not colder outside.

Back home I did a bit of guard duty myself for a while, so if you need the extra hands I'm more than happy to offer mine.

Yeah, I'm the fella who wrote the guide, and if you're offering, we'll take what help we can get. Swing by the Guard headquarters later on so I can get you signed up, but for now, see if you can't make sure folks get indoors. If the power's out, no telling what else we're missing. Could be that Hope isn't keeping monsters out of the city anymore, either.

[And he doesn't yet know what else lives on this planet, but he's betting not all of the wildlife is friendly.]

I've been flying over the area to make sure nothing's been left behind and we have two lakes. Both of them look pretty icy, though, so I wouldn't bet on being able to use them as a source of water.

At least there will be water to drink if we can get through the ice. Beats the alternative.

Hey, Nick. I'm going to go out and scout, I'll report back and I should be good for training and patrols for awhile, but uh.

[ The water and power are out, which has happened after moves before but not usually, and Drake's already tried to message Hope -- it failed. The gods aren't here with them. ]

[Because that is definitely the vibe he is getting from the reports coming in. They're all in deep shit if Hope is somehow out of commission again, but Nick knows goes and well it's more of an immediate problem in Drake's case.]

It's cold, but not as dangerously so as I'd expected from what we'd been told. There also appears to be a lake, although it's frozen over.

We had a lake before we moved to the islands. Seems like we might have two now. Least that means we can get water.

Anyway, lately I've been thinking that maybe I should, y'know, connect with the Guard and get on the same page with all you guys. Like just in case something goes down, you know?

[Peter might not be able to see Nick's smile, but it's evident in his tone.]

And here I thought I might've been imagining things on my patrol. It's not everyday you see someone scaling a building like you do.

[Then again, it's not everyday you meet a synth, or an alien, or have an entire city moved from one world to another. Hadriel is a strange place like that, sometimes.]

Do you think some of our current issues are move related or just dick god bullshit? [ Because she's trying to make certain judgements about all this. Of course, she's treating it pretty seriously but isn't panicked thanks to already having planned for this particular event (never mind the vote could have ended either way) ]

Seeing how they just put us through something similar, I'd put my money on the move. It doesn't have all beats, with us here and just the gods missing, but Fear doesn't strike me as a one-trick pony. Maybe not the most creative of the bunch, but he could come up with something better than the same thing twice in a row.

[Not that he hasn't considered it could be 'dick god bullshit,' as this could work in Confusion's, maybe even Rage's favor; however, the other option seems more likely to him this time around.]

Sonya Blade here. On the northern most watch tower [Insomnia had its perks when it came to irregular Watch duty errands.] I'm seeing some mountains in the distance. I wouldn't call them tall, but it's too far to see if they're hiding something or not.

Given the places we've been, I wouldn't be surprised if there was something up there. We might want to look into it, just in case the Null come looking for us.

[Glacius can't help but huff the disappointment out. He was hoping for ice sheets and snow everywhere, though he supposes that would be hugely problematic for everyone else here. Time to try and be useful as is.]

Anyways. I suspect that many have already given you information by this point... is there anything specific you would like me to try and get a handle on?

We could use someone scouting around the perimeter of the city, maybe taking a look at what kind of wildlife we have out there. I'm not sure how edible it will be, but if the gods are gone for any length of time, we might oughtta look into it.

[And while it's not ice sheets everywhere, it's certainly colder than a lot of people can handle, especially if they don't have any of the winter gear from when it snowed before. Glacius is far better-suited for such scouting than anyone else on the Guard.]
