So uh... Hey everyone. Again.

I know like, a bunch of people just arrived so... Welcome, I guess. We're still working on the newbie's guide to waking up in a cave-city run by gods, but until then like, if you have any questions I can try and help? Also uh, it's probably safe at this point and we're just being paranoid, but you may want to avoid eating any meat products you find here. For reasons.

Also uh, sort of related, but I was thinking that maybe before next month we should really... Plan some way to help out? I mean, people just sort of show up and half the time there's monsters too, and... Maybe some sort of organized thing for helping the new people not get like, eaten or whatever would be a good idea.

[This is not exactly his area of expertise, so if other people want to take charge on this he's more than happy to let them, but otherwise he'll try and figure something out. It really seems like something important to get established.]

In uh, a rare moment of good news though, the whole coffee thing worked out. So if you want coffee there's some at Delight's bar now, though you'll have to like... Be kind of patient with me and the others being possibly terrible baristas. Still kind of getting the hang of the whole thing.

[But surely coffee itself is well worth any less-than-practiced customer service; they're at least pretty good at making coffee, including somewhat elaborate drinks, and as far as Chris is aware they're all trying. That's what counts, right?

I think that's about it, except for that like... If anyone's curious, the handheld games from the arena this month are just normal games. I thought maybe they'd be some sort of weird alien-versions of them, but I guess not; I took one apart and it was all the expected stuff inside it.

That said I'm totally betting I can beat anyone's high scores.

I mean like, alternate dimensions and whatever was all sci-fi stuff back home, but then again so were monsters so...

Best part is once you know they're real? It's something you never.. unknow. Can't brain bleach that one outta your head.

My friends and I, um... We found out wendigos existed the night before we got here.

So they're real in your world, too? Back home? [ Interesting. ] Wendigo's ain't too much fun for monster virgins.

[He manages a small grin at that, because it's not really funny but the way Dean put it is.]

Apparently, yeah. The um... The wendigos that were--or are, I guess, since the spirits are probably still around--here are the ones from my world.

[Or at least work exactly the same way, but that's probably more unlikely.]

You're serious. You think they followed you here?

[ Because hoooo boooooy that could be bad fucking news if any ol' monster's allowed to come creeping through the door. ]

I don't know. I mean, there's me and three of my friends here from my world and there's been three more at different times, but um... None of us arrived the month the wendigos apparently got here, I don't think.

[So he's not sure if followed is the right word or not, but the Door definitely seems to like his world at least.]

I'm not sure if like, any of the other monsters here are from anyone's worlds though.

I'm thinkin' it might be worth asking around. Because if we've got shit comin' in from anywhere, people better start fessing up about what we might have in store.

Probably a good idea, yeah. I was talking to um, a few people here who were planning like, a centralized source of info on the all the monsters that are here so you might want to talk to them? It was Sam and Ciri.

[He doesn't have any siblings of his own, but he knows how important they can be and so it's probably really nice that Sam and Dean are here together.]

So yeah, that might make it uh, easy to coordinate on the monster encyclopedia then.

Yeah, I think it'll be um... Really useful, because otherwise like... I mean, when the wendigo thing happened, it was only me and Sam--my friend Sam, not your brother Sam--that knew the signs and how to fight them and whatever and also weren't turning into them ourselves. But if other people had the information in advance, maybe um... Maybe things would've gone better, or maybe some people wouldn't have turned to begin with.

[And more simply if someone runs into a monster in the caves or after a new wave of arrivals or during an event, if they know what it is and how to kill it in advance they might have a better chance of surviving.]

[ But man, he's finding it s hard to believe that they're the first people to think of this. ]

And you're sure no one's done it yet? I mean, people've here long enough, I would'a thought that somebody'd have gotten on that already.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure. I think um... I think people are usually just busy like, staying alive or dealing with whatever event is going on or just happened.

[He knows everyone at his house as usually only just recovered from whatever awful thing happened that month by the time the next one occurs.]

[ Sigh. So this is gonna be on him then. Or them.

Yeah, alright- maybe we'll see what we can put together. Try to keep everyone in the know. I don't know how much it'd help, or how much time we've even got to work on it, but people should know what they're dealin' with.

Okay, yeah, definitely. At my place we're um, working on kind of like, a general arrival info thing too? So the whole monster guide can kind of be combined with it, probably.

[And hopefully everyone having the same information, even if they've just arrived, will help cut down on the risks to all the people here.]

Sounds like a plan to me. Even if people don't wanna read it, at least we'll know they're being handed the keys to the kingdom.
