i don't remember how many i've killed

i regret that.
more than that, i regret the wars that made it necessary
and the people who suffered their loss

once i knew no better. there's much i would do differently if i could live those years again

I like your answer. [ is that weird to say? ] death is a hard lesson to learn.

sometimes it cant be avoided. i don’t feel sorry for defending my country or people, or anyone i care about
i wouldnt hesitate to do it again
but i prefer peace to war. that is what i want for my country, and i will pursue it now

What's your country like?

warm, and bright
it is divided into regions, ruled by the kyroi. each of them swears fealty to the king, and they raise their own army

at times of war, the king calls upon the kyroi to join him, and we fight for the honour of one nation
my home is the capitol of ios, where the palace is built upon high chalk cliffs with the ocean far beneath

i miss it very much. it is called akielos
do you know of it?

I haven't heard of it before. it sounds nice.

my country is Panem but District 1 is my home. it's red rock desert with beautiful sunsets and it's always warm. we grow grapes and olives and make luxury goods for our Capitol.

and figs. everything that likes the sun

including me. i miss that most of all

I miss them everyday. and the sunrises.
