[For anyone who manages to decipher his message past the glitch, or happens by, Kamina will be out in the clearing between town and caves every day just after noon for a few hours. Once he finally realizes what's been happening to his messages--probably the 14th or so--he'll also be around advertising the old-fashioned way: with his lungs and very excitable gestures. Or feel free to find him anywhere!]

[ Pell is not one of the ones who could decipher past the glitch, but he does have a tendency to wander the outskirts of the city. And Kamina's pretty loud when he wants to be.

He recognizes the voice, as well, and smiles when he hears its message. Following it is simple enough. ]

Kamina. How's the team growing?

Kamina's given up on his comm for the last day or so. The only reason he still holds on to the damn thing is the vague suspicion that if he threw it away and Nick tried to call, she might legit try to murder him. So it lives in his pocket while he makes the rounds, and when he sees the latest body he's called in, he grins, dropping hands cupped around his mouth to his sides.]

Pell, buddy! Good to see ya! We've seen a few setbacks, not gonna lie, but don't you worry--what Team Gurren lacks in numbers, it makes up for in spirit!! Here to train with me?

[ Train? He's not exactly in fighting shape, but Kamina's as enthusiastic as always, so. ]

Oh... sure. I might not be able to keep up with you, though.

Alright, first things first! To be part of Team Gurren, you've gotta have manly spirit! The kind of energy that burns hot in your chest, that the whole universe can see! Let's start with a run to get the blood pumping! Three full laps around this side of the river, along the cave wall, and if you see a monster, there's no running away!

[That might...be a little intense, Kamina.]

So we're running, but if I see a monster I should stop? And fight it..?

[ He's fine with laps, laps he can do. Probably. He'll be tired after, but he's in good enough shape to run. ]

That's the plan! Manly spirit doesn't let a little wind blow it out, or even the claws of a monster! If you see an enemy, strike it down! If there's a wall in your path, run right through it! That's the Team Gurren Way!

[He's pretty insistent on that part.]

Let's go!

[Screw jogging first, let's go right for the sprints!!! He will slow down to more or less match Pell's speed if he doesn't, though.]

[ ....okay then.

There's no way he's going to be able to keep up with Kamina at top speed (even if he was a runner in general, he's much shorter), but he can keep a decent pace. Luckily he's already got his hair braided back and isn't wearing his cloak today.

Three laps, they can do it! But are there any monsters to impede their progress? ]

[Okay, okay, so no sprinting. Kamina slows his pace to match Pell, and he doesn't even look too put-upon doing it. In fact, it's probably better that he's slowed down a little, because now that the noise of his running and breathing isn't getting in the way of his hearing, there's a quiet scrabbling noise up ahead, a squeaking that sounds like it's coming from a very large rat. Kamina looks over to Pell, grinning.]

Looks like we ain't gonna make it all the way without a little fun! You ready?

[ .... ]

[ ... ok there is a lot of judgement when she finds him and plays back the message for him. ]

What are you doing?

[His response: immediate umbrage.]

I've never even seen that horse before!

[ Wanda gives him a Look that is clearly That is what you're concerned about? ]

Everyone who saw your broadcast saw this. I would not worry about the horse.

What? That's stupid, where would I even get a horse around here? I mean, I guess I could've found diamonds in the rocks around here, but...

[He's...still thinking more about the logistics of making that video happen than what she's stating. He's mostly just assuming that they saw his broadcast, then they saw this after?]

Kamina.

[ In a tone that very much implies she's going to kick him again. ]

Nobody knows you are here, or what Team Gurren is.

[With that tone, her words finally sink in, and his outrage is now flavored with comprehension.]

What the hell?! Are you telling me no one got my message, they just saw that instead?!?!

[ It would be hilarious if he wasn't her friend. ]

Yes, that is what happened. You are not the only one who is sending or receiving strange messages.

[He's got no doubts at all, now that she's finally explained. He trusts her enough to know she wouldn't screw with him, not about this. He runs a hand through the mess he calls hair, sighing heavily.]

Man, an entire speech wasted! What a load of crap. Guess I'm gonna have to do this the old-fashioned way, huh? Where d'you think's the best place to get recruits?

[ Wryly, ]

[That finally gets a grin out of him, broad and only a little cocky.]
