Yeah. I guess that would be too easy, if there was some kinda pattern, huh.

There could always be a pattern that's bigger than one city I guess.

It's hard to see a pattern without seeing all the parts, right? Maybe we just need to figure out what all the parts are first.

Where I came from, back when I was growing up we would call the moon Tethe'alla. But then we found out that Tethe'alla was actually a whole other world connected with ours, and over there they called my world the moon instead. It's all about figuring out where the connection is!

It's kind of a complicated story, honestly. He used the tower to go to Derris-Kharlan. Which was in space. And he's kind of an angel? I mean, I guess he would have to be after four thousand years, right?

[Nick doesn't fuss with her device too much, just hits reply and doesn't care about the format. It ends up being video, like the last message she got, so it's a closeup of her squinting, puzzled face that's sent back.]

But Kratos wasn't a Protozoan or an elf. And he had wings? [lloyd, you have wings now. sometimes, anyway.]

[Nick does not have wings, even in her Morphus form, and she's not met any Nightbane who does - but then again, she hasn't met many other Nightbane, just those who sought refuge in the same hotel where she ended up staying after being stalked out of the hostel she initially chose.]

Half elves, actually. I mean, I met plenty of elves in Heimdall but they weren't exactly a friendly bunch.

Genis and Raine are great though! [and he brightens pretty noticeably at this, always eager to tell people how awesome his friends were.] They're both really smart. Genis even got invited to some special school because of it.

So contrary to popular opinion, elves are not jolly. Got it.
