this time, there's no fumbling with the phone, no going out of focus, Marg has successfully conquered her phone. and the sewing shop is dust-free and bolts of fabric can be seen in the distance]

[and so he is! Enjoying a nice stroll through the cave to the little shop. He might be just a tad excited for this, even if it doesn't show on his face.]

[Nick sees this transmission, recognizes the name given by the network as someone on "the list," and makes a mental note to swing by the place on his patrol. His route already passes right by the building, and he's noticed it had activity going on behind its doors as of late -- must be the new management -- but never made a point of dropping in.

Well, he's got plenty of reason now, so when he makes a sweep of the city that afternoon, he knocks on the door and lets himself in. Frankly, he looks like he needed to visit the place sooner: his clothes are as tattered as the rest of him, with patches and raw stitches here and there. One arm on his coat even looks like it was crudely sewn back on after being ripped off with the limb underneath (which, of course, is exactly what happened).]

Anyone home?

[Margaery has been sitting in a corner, adding stitches to a teal colored garment. she looks up to greet her customer. his appearance is momentarily startling, but she's learning to recover quickly. she flashes a bright smile at the newcomer and gets up to go and greet him]

Yes! My name is Margaery Tyrell, Queen of the Seven Kingdoms. What can I do for you?

[Nick is used to the look folks give him when they first see him, but pleasantly surprised -- she covers it well. He meets her smile with one of his own as he gives her a polite nod.]

A queen, huh? Don't think I've ever met one of those. My name is Nick Valentine. I'm with the Guard and will be patrolling around here, so I mostly wanted to introduce myself so you didn't get spooked seeing me outside every now and then.

[Even in his more recent rundown state, Delmar finds it in himself to be very excited by this announcement]

[He'll arrive about 20 minutes later, having gone back to his apartment to tidy himself from working on the hideout and to collect the bears so that Margaery can see what the finish product looks like on them. Beauregard, the bear with a lampshade instead of a head, is a bit too awkward to fit in his bag so Harlan Jr. goes in the satchel whilst Delmar carries Beau himself.]

Miss Margaery? [He peeks inside with a shy little knock of his knuckles against the doorframe] It's Delmar.

[when he arrives, he'll find Margaery seated in a corner, working on a teal garment. she sees him, goes to gather two sweaters for the teddy bears and goes over to join him.]

Delmar! It's lovely to meet you in person at last. I hope you like the sweaters I made.

[Delmar is tickled at the thought that someone might genuinely be excited to meet him and his cheeks flush just a little]

It's lovely to meet you too.

[He then turns his attention to the sweaters eyes going starry]

Oh! Look at those! Aren't those just the most perfect things. Miss Margaery, you have a gift.

[ The Null was the only thing on Malkus' mind, recently. He was not on their list. Quite the opposite! Our tall, gangly limbed would-be assassin had been spending his time in dark corners, trying to build up the gumption to kill. ]

[ He scrambled to put away his vials and slipped his gloves back over those sharpened claws of his. Margaery would absolutely not be his target. Regicide was just too much. ]

[Margaery has been doing her best to pretend that the threat against her doesn't frighten her, but she knows she's largely defenseless]

[ Malkus saw the city in a different, harsher light. He hadn't even done anything wrong, but every threatening network post almost seemed directed at him. He felt the heat of accusation on his back, even though he was completely clean. It kept him from the public. Eventually Malkus strolled into the sewing shop, just as lanky as ever. ]

I can! I was taught by my mother. One of the few things she taught me. Grandmother saw to the rest of my teachings. [she's guessing . . .Dany?] I ask for bolts of fabric in return. You can obtain them by going to Delight's temple and sharing a happy memory. She even allows you to keep the memory.

[well, what started as merely a project to get herself some more suitable clothes has turned into something greater and she finds she truly doesn't mind the work. it's even fun! lets her express her creativity. and she refuses to let the Null frighten her away]

I think that can be arranged. I used to make the garments my brother wore under his suit of armor, all I'd need to do is make it closer to something from your world. A shirt and trousers with protection for the elbows, knees, and groin and any other areas you'd request? Something that stretches and moves with you when you're fighting. Would that be suitable?
