[the video opens on Margaery sitting neatly in a chair, wearing one of her usual gowns with her sword sitting on her lap. for those with practiced eyes or those who know Margaery well, they will be able to tell that her smile is still strained and not entirely meeting her eyes, but it's still bright and beautiful just the same]

Hello, everyone! I wanted to remind you that the Sewing Shop is open and ready for business here on the North Island. I can make a wide variety of clothing or embellish that which you already have. You have only to ask.

The only price is that you have to obtain a bolt of fabric from Tranquility in exchange. All manners of fabric are welcome as are all colors.

One of your friends, Party Poison, has approached me about making clothing for all of you. He's already paid in advance, so all you need to do is come over so I can take your measurements and talk to you about what you would like to have.

I have a few surprises for you. Come over whenever you like and I'll have them ready for you.

Wow. Under those circumstances, why not have a pet raptor?

Then he must be something special. A dog that size normally ages quickly and are only good for the hunt for a certain amount of time.

That is the general consensus yes XD

Aye, that was our thought also! But only Celegorm could understand him normally, and all three times he spoke aloud it was not to us, and besides which about far greater matters, so I suppose we will never know.

I suppose not? I don't know what I'd do if I encountered a talking dog. [she laughs] Faint, perhaps?

the rest of the family is not as keen XD

Well, in fairness, you would not have known he could talk! He'd just have been a really large, unusually intelligent dog!

well, it's not like you can litter train a raptor

Father would have been very impressed by him. He was fond of hunting dogs. Not fond of the actual hunting, but he liked the dogs.

I'd be more worried about it eating the horses XD

[bythewaves]

He'd have liked Huan, then! He was a massive beast. Gentle with us, always, vicious in attack.

yes. yes, that would absolutely be a concern!

I'm sure he would have. Father. . . I know people laughed at him because he only won one battle and his siege at Storm's End was undermined by a smuggler with a rowboat filled with onions, but I loved him. He deserved better than his end.

He was your father. [ Maglor says sympathetically ]

I am sorry he fell to such a fate.

As am I. I remember my last sight of him. He looked so confused. Loras had just been brutalized by the Faith and forcefully disinherited and I was trying to get people to listen to me, but no one would.

[bythewaves]

Tis the burden of being a Woman, I think - too often I have seen that, in the world of Men! Your voice should hold as much weight as any, and I grieve that it does not. Of course, working against a mob is never easy.

[ Unless you cheat, the way Maglor was taught to ]

Indeed. I was their queen, but few would listen to me. I suppose that in the end, my only real duties were to smile and be pleasing and produce an heir. But I was taught to be so much more.

[bythewaves]

[ He grimaces ]

All too familiar a tale, and a terrible waste of talent! I'm sorry, Margaery - it's so clear you had so much more to offer!

[roseofthetyrells]

I did. I know I did. I--I hope that things are different here. Will be different when I leave. But I simply don't know.

[bythewaves]

I think they will be - Matt was a gentle and wise heart, I do not think he would treat you any differently! Of course, he may be an outlier, I suppose, one can never be certain - but I do not think so. His attitude in general suggested that his behaviour towards folk here was, if not normal, certainly accepted, and he showed no sign of listening any less to the ladies than to the men.

[roseofthetyrells]

He seemed to treasure my intelligence, which was a balm after three men who saw me as little more than an object to be had to glorify themselves. And he was--he is--truly special. We're all poorer for the loss of him.

[bythewaves]

He did, and I wish I had known him better! I only had the one conversation with him, but what I heard impressed me greatly. He was one with convictions, but also with great kindness.

[roseofthetyrells]

And an endless desire to protect the innocent and less fortunate. I don't know what he found in me to find me worthy, but I'm grateful he did.

[bythewaves]

I think he must have seen in you what all can see, if they would only bother to look! A strong will, and a kind heart, a keen intelligence, and a gentle spirit.

[roseofthetyrells]

[she is not welling up with tears. but she is, a little]

...thank you. All I can do is hope to continue to prove myself worthy of not only him, but all of you.

[bythewaves]

[ Dawww, he will do her the kindness of not mentioning it. But have a handkerchief ]

[she takes the handkerchief and delicately dabs at her eyes]

It's simply. . . there are so many things from home that I look back on and regret.

[bythewaves]

There are for many of us, I think. [ He says simply ]

But we cannot change the past, only the future.

[roseofthetyrells]

Perhaps. I wonder how they're all able to cope.

[she sighs] I suppose so. I'm trying to make that future worth something.

[bythewaves]

I cannot speak for others, but... well. You know how I cope.

[ By moping trying not to think about it too much ]

I do. And I wish you'd be kinder to yourself.

[she copes by throwing herself into her socializing and training and the Sewing Shop]
