My apologies. I've become rather used to people being skeptical of deities, especially since I was spirited away from my world. It seems many do not have such followings, and others find no purpose in them.

if there are gods where i'm from they're either useless or evil

so i don't give it a lot of thought

It's probably best that way. The less thought given to them, the less influence they have over people.
