How do you deal with that now?
Did you find a way to make it better or did you just ignore it until it went away?
(The latter is my strategy. Hasn't worked out so well, let me tell you.)

I have trouble sometimes with it all still.
I try to do better, but...
Trying only gets you so far sometimes.

see, we have this thing where i'm from. it's accepting that death is permanent. so i wouldn't even think about what i would do to bring my family back, especially not to this shithole

where I was, death became permanent
dying before sucked, sure, but we'd bounce back quick enough
it was all okay until someone fucked up and suddenly we couldn't be reckless anymore, we had to be careful

it was death or being locked in cold storage
even if this place sucks, I'd rather have them here with me than anywhere else
