Hello, everyone! I wanted to remind you that the Sewing Shop is open and ready for business here on the North Island. I can make a wide variety of clothing or embellish that which you already have. You have only to ask.

The only price is that you have to obtain a bolt of fabric from Tranquility in exchange. All manners of fabric are welcome as are all colors.

One of your friends, Party Poison, has approached me about making clothing for all of you. He's already paid in advance, so all you need to do is come over so I can take your measurements and talk to you about what you would like to have.

Depends on how they kept it - but yes, there's a good chance it would take a good deal of interpretation. [ Maglor agrees and shakes his head ]

Sadly, the only other source of information is the Null, and I trust them not either.

Nor I. They'd kill us as soon as look at us. So I suppose we're--stuck.

If only for now didn't seem to last so terribly long.

It always does. [ He squeezes back ]

It has to. I would love to see it happen.

I think we all would! But until that day, we will just have to manage as best we can.

Yes, I suppose we will. It's a good thing grandmother taught me the value of patience.

Patience is a hard virtue to acquire. [ He smiles ruefully ]

One I learnt too late, I feel, but at least I know it now.

I'm glad that you learned it, though from what you've said, it must have come at a terrible cost.

[ he shrugs a little ]

It would have come with less cost, if I had been wiser, I suppose. But we were young and innocent, and by the time we learnt otherwise it was already too late. But that is one reason why I did not Fade - someone must remember, that others not repeat the same.

[she pauses a long moment, then says]

You know that were I not going to Earth, I would go with you to your world. To keep you company.

[ He smiles a little ]

I did get something of that impression - but Sansa would fight you for that right, I think. And I would rather both of you safe someplace else! Middle-earth is still dangerous, Sauron is but recently overthrown.

Sansa has duties waiting for her back in Westeros. I have no such ties. And I'm capable of defending myself, as you well know.

That much is true. [ He smiles wryly at her ]

Well, it is a moot point anyway, I suppose, so long as the Door remains beyond our understanding.

But I spoke to Sorrow. He said that it is possible for a person from one world to go to another.

[bythewaves]

Once - but multiple trips? That, I think, is a different story.

...perhaps. I would like to think that it's possible.

[bythewaves]

It would be nice if it could. [ He smiles a little ] But... well. We will have to see, I suppose.

Yes, I suppose. I could always speak to Sorrow some more.

Do not put yourself in debt to him. [ He urges her ] But I suppose if he is willing to talk...

Oh, I'll do no such thing. [she reassures him] I don't see why he'd be unwilling to talk?

One never knows, with them. [ He grimaces ]

I really don't think they understand us very well. Even the Valar were more discernable - or at least, they learnt to be!

No, they don't. I think they're incapable of trying.

[bythewaves]

I'm not sure if they're incapable or just... that ignorant.
