I'd want to know everything! What they eat, what their life's like, what they're into, what's important to them.

And I'd want them to know my kind don't want to hurt them. That I want to get along with them. And that I need food and water and sleep and clothes... survival things!

I would want to know their intentions and their abilities, for starters. From there, I could ascertain if they were a threat or worth forming an alliance with and the things I would want to know about them would vary based on what category they fell into.

I would want to know whether or not these beings were capable of loving, and how they determine their loyalties. What kind of ties bind them together? What will cause one to stand at another's side when death will almost certainly be the result?
