I had three jobs; I'm a clinical psychologist, criminal profiler, and FBI special agent in the major crimes division. In case none of that makes sense, being a psychologist means I listen to and help individuals deal with mental health issues, a criminal profiler attempts to determine the personality, predict the actions of, and identify criminals based on their crimes, and an FBI special agent is essentially a governmental police officer; I primarily work dealing with murder cases. I don't have a lot of time for recreational activities, but I like music and I can play the piano.

[On one hand, wow, what an opportunity; learning magic is one of those thing that almost all little kids, especially nerdy ones, dream about. On the other hand... Magic is, as far as Lance knows, not a thing in his world and he definitely doesn't have any experience with it. What if he wouldn't be any good at it? Could he even learn in the first place? One of my previous students had no experience with it, and turned out to be quite talented in the art.

Glyphcrafting is a form of magic from my world, often considered the easiest of the forms to learn. Instead of vocal or gestural commands, one writes glyphs and sigils, then activates the dictated spell by pouring their energy into the glyph.

It is called glyphCRAFTING, and yes, it can be used to heal people, though it is generally not recommended for anything other than minor wounds.
