As it seems this place has stripped me of my students, I have decided I ought to find another one, perhaps two.
[Probably one. He's not holding his breath here.]
If you have any interest in learning glyphcrafting -- perhaps some minor magics as well, should you show potential -- please fill out an application. I have left them at the Clinic with Kate Galloway for accessibility.
[And also so he doesn't have to meet people in person to hand out these things.]
Thank you.

If yes, please explain:
I will leave this blank. In my duties, I have fought and killed many non-human entities who were threatening the lives of innocents in the Capital. Whether this is defined as murder is subjective, I suppose. But I would never take the life of someone who wasn't a danger to myself or others.
Please list your occupation prior to coming to this world, and a few of your recreational pursuits:
I am the Imperial guardian of the Capital of Japan. I work secretly to take care of any supernatural threats that might menace the city. My clan has served the government in this way for hundreds of years. My cover is as an apprentice at a detective's agency.
[Recreation? That's a tough one. He doesn't get much off time.]
In my spare time I practice weapons training (sword and pistol), and I enjoy reading. I also attend school when I can.
You may leave any additional notes here.
Thank you for your consideration.

If no, what are your feelings on undeads?
I haven't really met any individuals I'm certain fall into that category, so I guess it would depend on the nature of their condition and their individual personality.
Are you familiar with glyphcrafting?
☐ Yes ☑ No
Why are you interested in pursuing the art of glyphcrafting?
Any additional useful skill I could acquire is worth looking into. Also learning any type of magic would be really cool.

Please list your occupation prior to coming to this world, and a few of your recreational pursuits:
I had three jobs; I'm a clinical psychologist, criminal profiler, and FBI special agent in the major crimes division. In case none of that makes sense, being a psychologist means I listen to and help individuals deal with mental health issues, a criminal profiler attempts to determine the personality, predict the actions of, and identify criminals based on their crimes, and an FBI special agent is essentially a governmental police officer; I primarily work dealing with murder cases. I don't have a lot of time for recreational activities, but I like music and I can play the piano.

Age: A lady never tells and a gentleman shouldn't ask. I am an adult.
Species:
Which deities do you serve, if any? None
Are you an undead?
No
If no, what are your feelings on undeads?
That would depend on the sentience and self-control of the undead in question. I do not have a strong opinion of them beyond having no desire whatsoever to make more of them with my magic.
Are you familiar with glyphcrafting?
No. The runes of my world seem similar in some ways, but quite different in others.
Why are you interested in pursuing the art of glyphcrafting?
I enjoy new challenges.
Do you have any previous experience with magic (ability to actively cast not necessary for lessons)?
Yes
If yes, please describe:
I manifested my magic when I was six years old, joined a mage guild when I was ten, and have been an active practitioner since then.
Do you have any previous experience with alchemy (experience not necesssary for lessons)?
No
Do you work at the Clinic?
No
If no, would you consider aiding the Clinic during dire times, should they need extra assistance in mending the wounded?
Yes, although my skills are better suited to combat and hunting.
Have you, or have you ever, considered murdering anyone?
Yes
If yes, please explain:
I fought in a war, and some of the work I took within my mage guild put me in a position where it was necessary to take a life (bodyguard work where the client had some very dangerous and persistent enemies)
Please list your occupation prior to coming to this world, and a few of your recreational pursuits:
Mage is both a person with the ability to use magic and an actual job for those who choose to join a guild. Guild work often involves combat in some capacity, but it can involve steadier and less dangerous work, such as a contract to be a child mage's tutor.
You may leave any additional notes here.
I want to see what glyphs can do firsthand. It sounds interesting, and I seldom get the chance to talk about magic with others.

Is it something that anyone has the potential to learn, or do you need to have at least some prior experience?

[There's a quiet sigh; he's apparently still lamented Emily's loss just as much as that day Dr. Sweets found him hurling plants around his garden.]
Not everyone has the natural inclination for magic, and some find themselves more skilled than others, but most from my world can learn it in some form or fashion, however little it may be. I'm not sure if it's the same for all worlds.

I am proud of you for reaching out to people in the interest of making this cave a better place. Just... don't extend yourself too much, alright? We still need to be careful. [Especially in light of recent discoveries, though Glacius doesn't mention that as he's not about to let it feel like it's weighing down his partner's capabilities.]

Glyphcrafting is a form of magic from my world, often considered the easiest of the forms to learn. Instead of vocal or gestural commands, one writes glyphs and sigils, then activates the dictated spell by pouring their energy into the glyph.
